CEFOSURE
COMPOSITION:
Each mL of reconstituted solution contains:
Cefovecin (as sodium salt) 80 mg
Each powder vial contains:
852 mg cefovecin, to be reconstituted with 10.8 mL of the accompanying solvent.
INDICATIONS:
It is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in dogs and cats. In dogs, it is effective against skin and soft tissue infections including pyoderma, wounds and abscesses, against urinary tract infections, and as an adjunct to mechanical or surgical periodontal therapy in severe infections of the gingival and periodontal tissues. In cats, it is effective against skin and soft tissue abscesses and wounds, and against urinary tract infections. A single subcutaneous injection provides up to 14 days of antibacterial activity.
