COMPOSITION:

Each 8 g syringe contains:

Cloxacillin (as cloxacillin benzathine) 500 mg

INDICATIONS:

It is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of mastitis in dairy cows during the dry period. It is effective against Streptococcus agalactiae and Staphylococcus aureus, including penicillin-resistant strains. It should be administered to cows with repeated attacks of mastitis during the previous lactation, or cows affected with mastitis at drying off. Cloxacillin provides a prolonged bactericidal activity of approximately 4 weeks.
